InnoDB in Shared Hosting
Every PHP-powered web application that requires InnoDB will run impeccably on our innovative cloud hosting platform and the database engine comes with all our shared hosting plans. Every time you create a database manually or our app installer creates one automatically and an app installation is started, the engine that the database will make use of will be selected on the basis of the app’s specifications without having to configure any setting in your shared hosting account. InnoDB will be picked automatically for any application that requires this specific engine and you’ll be able to make the most of its full capacity. We will maintain regular backups of your content, so if you accidentally erase a database that’s important to you or you overwrite certain parts of it, we’ll be able to restore everything the way it was just several hours ago.
InnoDB in Semi-dedicated Servers
All our semi-dedicated servers include InnoDB and you will be able to make the most of all the features of this MySQL database engine with any PHP script-driven app that requires it. InnoDB is one of the engines that are available on our cloud hosting platform, so the one that will be selected depends on the requirements of the given app. You won’t have to do anything manually to enable InnoDB, as it will be set as the default engine when you install an application – whether manually or using our single-click application installer. To avoid any risk, we’ll keep daily backups of all your databases, so if anything goes wrong after some update or if you remove some content by accident, we’ll be able to restore your database the way it was on any of the past seven days.
InnoDB in VPS Servers
When you purchase a VPS server from us, you will be able to take advantage of our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel to manage your web content. A Hepsia-equipped VPS will permit you to activate any open-source script-driven software application which requires InnoDB, as this database engine is included in the default software package that will be pre-installed on your Virtual Private Server during its creation. When you set up a new database through the hosting Control Panel, you’ll simply need to start installing an app – manually or using our application installer tool. InnoDB will be set as the default engine on the condition that the app in question requires it, so you won’t have to do anything else in your account. Identically, if an application requires MyISAM, it will be automatically set as the default engine for this particular database.
InnoDB in Dedicated Servers
If you purchase a new dedicated server, you will be able to pick one of the three Control Panels offered by our company – DirectAdmin, Hepsia and cPanel. Each dedicated server ordered with Hepsia comes with InnoDB pre-activated, so you won’t have to install this storage engine manually in order to be able to manage PHP-based web applications that need it. InnoDB is used for scalable apps and since a dedicated server will provide you with all the server resources that you require in order to manage large-scale sites, it’s quite possible that you’ll use InnoDB. You will be able to make use of other engines too, so in case a particular app requires MyISAM rather than InnoDB, you won’t need to deal with any problem while running it. The engine that will be used will be recognized automatically the moment the app installation commences, so you will not have to configure any setting manually whatsoever.
